Your information

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Hello Productive Group (“The Link Boutique”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use The Link Boutique, and the choices available to you. It applies to our website, the shops built on our service and the emails we send.

We collect only what we need to provide the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

1Who this policy covers

Shop owners, their team members and visitors to our own pages. For this information we decide how it is used, and this policy applies in full.

Customers, subscribers and readers of a shop. When you buy from, subscribe to or comment on a shop built on The Link Boutique, the shop owner is responsible for your information and their own privacy policy applies. We store and process it on the shop’s behalf and only in order to run the shop. To access, correct or delete it, please contact the shop directly. If you are unable to reach them, you may write to us and we will assist.

2Information we collect

Account information. When you open an account we ask for your name, email address, phone number, business name and country, together with a password, which is stored only in hashed form.

Billing information. Payments for plans and templates are handled by our payment processor. We receive the plan you chose, its status and your invoices. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Content you add to your shop. Products, files, posts, images, settings, and the customer and subscriber details described in section 1.

How you found us. Any invite or referral code you used, campaign tags in the link you followed, the referring website, and the country and region reported by our network. We do not collect your precise location.

Usage information. We count page views and link clicks so that shop owners can see how their shop is doing. Each visit is recorded against a one-way code derived from the connection that changes daily and cannot be reversed. We do not store IP addresses.

Correspondence. If you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

3Cookies and similar technologies

We use only the cookies that are necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The cookies we set are used to:

  • keep shop owners and their team members signed in to the admin;
  • remember a visitor’s shopping bag on a shop, one per shop;
  • keep a customer or reader signed in after they use an emailed sign-in link;
  • hold a template draft while a shop owner previews a design.

Shop pages may load typefaces from a third-party font service, which receives the technical information a browser sends with any request, such as the IP address. We do not place other third-party content on shop pages unless the shop owner adds it.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not track visitors across websites or sell or share personal information, there is no such activity for these browser signals to turn off. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we already do not do.

4How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide and maintain the service, including hosting your shop, managing your plan, delivering email and reporting your shop’s activity;
  • communicate with you about your account, your plan and billing, which are messages you will receive for as long as you hold an account;
  • protect the service and its users, including preventing fraud, spam and abuse, and investigating problems;
  • provide support when you ask for it. A member of our support team may open a read-only view of your account for a reason they record, for up to two hours, and each such access is listed in your account settings;
  • understand and improve the service, using aggregated information rather than individual records;
  • comply with legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with our legal obligations and, where applicable, your consent.

5How we share information

We share personal information with service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting and network security, database and file storage, payment processing, email delivery and, for shops that enable them, shipping and point-of-sale services. These providers may use the information only to provide those services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of The Link Boutique, our users or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

6Data location and retention

Our service providers store information in the United States. If you access The Link Boutique from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

  • Account and shop information is retained for as long as your account remains open.
  • When you close your account, its contents, including your customers’ and subscribers’ details, are deleted 45 days later.
  • Billing records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Usage statistics are retained as aggregate totals; the daily visitor codes behind them cannot identify an individual.

7Your rights and choices

You can review and update most of your account information in Settings, and export your orders and subscribers at any time. Every newsletter sent through The Link Boutique includes an unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, write to hello@thelinkboutique.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires, and in any event within 45 days. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws may also submit a request through an authorized agent.

8Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Connections are encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, changing your password signs out every other session, and each shop’s data is separated from every other shop’s at the database level, with automated tests on every change. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

9Children

The Link Boutique is not directed to children. Accounts may be opened only by people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and if the changes are material we will notify account owners by email before they take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11How to contact us
